In a recent episode of KBS’s The Return of Superman, Sleepy revealed that RM sent him a whopping 10 million KRW (approximately $8,500 USD) as a wedding gift. Yes, you read that right – 10 million KRW! But here’s the kicker: RM didn’t just hand over an envelope at the celebration. Sleepy, who wasn’t expecting a gift at first, was speechless when he received the notification that RM had deposited the money. In Sleepy’s words, it was the best wedding gift he’d ever received. And honestly, who wouldn’t want a friend like RM? But let’s rewind a bit. How did these two musical powerhouses become such close friends? According to rapper DinDin, who was also present at the unveiling, RM and Sleepy have known each other for a long time. Their paths first crossed in the underground hip-hop scene in South Korea. As their bond grew, Sleepy even introduced RM to HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk. What a dynamic duo! Meanwhile, RM is currently serving his mandatory military service and will be called up in December 2023.
