Ahead of Deepika Padukone’s birth, a gift brand shared an Instagram story with some adorable gifts that the actress had ordered. In the photo, we see some beautiful gift boxes wrapped in minimalist brown paper and neatly tied with a light blue string. Attached to the strings were many elegant ceramic hangings, including fish, stars and circles in shades of blue and white. The brand page tagged Deepika in the post, hinting that the mom-to-be has started preparing for the baby’s arrival.

Netizens speculate that Deepika and Ranveer will have a baby boy
Soon, the picture of the gift baskets was shared on Reddit, leading many netizens to speculate whether Deepika and Ranveer are having a baby boy. The choice of blue packaging amused her fans and sent them into ecstasy. One user wrote, “Oh my god, it’s so cute and beautiful though! I’m in love with the blue packaging.” Another user wrote, “That’s most likely true. Something similar happened at Alia’s baby shower. Everyone wearing pink was a sign.”
Deepika Padukone does not plan to return to work anytime soon
If the latest rumours are to be believed, Deepika Padukone may not be returning to work anytime soon. Earlier, a report in Times Now had stated that Deepika will be attending the third season of The White Lotus as she wants to be a “hands-on” mother for her future baby. The actress will not be returning to work anytime soon and will focus on raising her baby.. The report also mentioned that Deepika would not hire any nannies for her child and would not even let Ranveer share in the parenting duties as she wants to do everything on her own.

On June 19, 2024, Deepika Padukone shared some pictures of herself getting ready for an event on her Instagram account. She slipped into a black, figure-hugging halter neck dress. The mom-to-be rounded off her look with smokey eye makeup, a low ponytail and a lot of accessories. Deepika showed off her growing baby bump and won everyone’s hearts. She caressed her baby bump and looked overjoyed. Deepika wrote with the pictures:
“Okay, enough… Now I’m hungry!”
