People seem much more willing to leave bad reviews online if they never have to see the person in person again.

However, this does not prevent the injured party from taking revenge.

This woman hosted a subtenant who was in town to check on her rented apartment but left a bad review.

Find out how our poster got revenge!

I hosted a woman in my guest room who was visiting her apartment in the city.

She had rented it for a few years and flew there regularly to check on things, pick up her mail, etc.

She scolded me about the condition of my guest room.

She also left a lukewarm review.

However, there was this little piece of code…

In my city there is a residential property exemption: if you own the property and live there, you will be exempt from one third of the property tax.

When renting, you pay the full amount.

In fact, the woman had violated the ban!

On my next visit to City Hall, I checked their status.

In fact, she had claimed that she had lived there the whole time and received the exemption (about $2,000 a year).

I mentioned to the clerk that she had stayed overnight with me on her last visit.

This lukewarm criticism and verbal crap cost them a fortune.

Fuck her.

Vengeance unlocked!

I bet Reddit will love this short and sweet story.

Beautifully played.

This woman should have been nicer.

You never know when it will pay off.
