The 43rd Curtis Cup is here.
The Curtis Cup, an eight-woman competition between the best amateurs from the United States and their counterparts from Great Britain and Ireland, begins on Friday at the Old Course at Sunningdale in England. This is the first Curtis Cup to be played at Sunningdale and the tenth in England.
The Americans lead the biennial competition 31-8-3, but this year’s team is one of the youngest ever and includes 15-year-old Asterisk Talley, the runner-up in the U.S. Women’s Amateur and U.S. Girls’ Junior.
