You might think there’s no room for a feud between these top talents, all currently at the peak of their careers. It turns out their fan bases have become entangled in yet another clash. Argument about which of the experienced stars – Swift or Grande – is really behind the new sensation Sabrina Carpenter. It all started when Grande posted a clip of Carpenter’s interview on her Instagram story. And some Swifties immediately branded Grande as “fake”, He suspects that their support is just an attempt to win favor now that Carpenter is, well, popular.

Sabrina Carpenter was considered “Taydaughter” since Swift introduced her on the Eras Tour. Many also credit the “Cruel Summer” singer for the sudden boost in fame that the “Espresso” singer experienced. However, after Grande was accused of being a fake endorsement for Carpenter, Arianators dug up some archives to prove that Grande supported the Disney alum even when she wasn’t that big of a deal.

Grande’s fans have taken it upon themselves to prove that the artist has always supported Carpenter and that the Swifties are simply being unreasonable.

However, there’s plenty of evidence that Ariana Grande has been supporting Carpenter since 2017. Whether through tweets or by having Carpenter open for her on the Dangerous Woman tour when she was still relatively unknown, Grande has shown that she believes in promoting up-and-coming artists.

Swifties, however, argued that Grande only started supporting Carpenter once she became famous. Some also pointed to the “Bloodline” singer’s drama with Chappell Roan.

Ariana Grande’s personal life has also increased criticism, and Swifties have not failed to bring it up in this war. But amidst this fan conflict, it is clear that Sabrina Carpenter has support from major figures in the industry, which could help her tremendously in her attempt to reach the top of the pop music world.
