Rim of the Pacific 2024 – RIMPAC for short – brought together nearly 30 partner nations with a common goal: to build relationships, improve interoperability and ultimately contribute to peace and stability in the vital Indo-Pacific region.

“There is no doubt that we have achieved the main objectives of the exercise,” said Navy Vice Admiral John Wade, commander of the combined forces, at the end of the exercise.

29 Nations

Over 25,000 staff

40 Surface ships

3 Submarines

150+ Airplane

14 National Land Forces

Partner: Integrated and prepared

Partners: Integrated and Prepared, the motto of this year’s event, allowed nations to demonstrate a range of capabilities in diverse environments. The exercise also ensured that multinational forces remained ready to respond to natural disasters or aggression and deter conflict if required.

This was the 29th edition of this biennial event. The exercise was first held in 1971.
