Alleged fraudster Sukesh Chandrashekharcurrently detained in a Delhi jail, has reportedly filed a yacht to the Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez for her birthday. In a letter to the actress, who celebrated her birthday on Sunday, Chandrashekhar revealed that the yacht named “Lady Jacqueline‘, was a gift in her honor.
Chandrashekhar claimed that the yacht was one that Jacqueline had already selected in 2021 and confirmed that it would be delivered later this month. In the letter, he assured her that all taxes on the yacht had been paid and stated that this was “completely legitimate”.
Besides the yacht, Chandrashekhar mentioned that the animal hospital he had earlier gifted to Fernandez in Bengaluru was nearing completion. Jacqueline was under observation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for their alleged involvement in a Money laundering case linked to Chandrashekhar. According to the ED’s 2022 chargesheet, he allegedly used illegal funds to buy expensive gifts for the actress.
actress Nora Fatehi was also questioned by the ED in connection with the same Rs 200 crore money laundering case in which Sukesh Chandrashekhar was also involved.
