Bandai Namco announced a new Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream Open network test, and this time people can test nine characters. People who own a Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X and PC can participate. The test will take place from September 20 to 22, 2024.
Although it is a three-day Open Network Test, this beta is unavailable during certain times due to maintenance. Here are the exact times when someone can join sessions.
- Session 1: September 20, 2024, 7:00 p.m. PT/10:00 p.m. ET through September 21, 2024, 7:00 p.m. PT/10:00 p.m. ET.
- Session 2: September 21, 2024, 11:00 p.m. PT / September 22, 2024, 2:00 a.m. ET to September 22, 2024, 8:00 p.m. PT / 11:00 p.m. ET.
As for these nine, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream Open Network’s test characters might look familiar. Bandai Namco has confirmed that everyone from the closed beta is back. Here’s who you’ll see and what roles they’ll play.

Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream will be released on October 4, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC. Pre-orders are possible. The Open Network Test runs from September 20 to 22, 2024.
