Houston design favorite lands in The Woodlands – LAM Furniture bans boredom in its new store in Hughes Landing

“Over the years, we’ve had a growing number of customers driving into Houston from the north side,” says Lam. “With continued growth in The Woodlands and surrounding areas, we saw an opportunity for LAM to attract new customers here. The Woodlands location is our second largest store and offers an opportunity to create something beautiful.”

LAM offers a curated selection of design-led, customizable furniture and decor. The new store is conveniently located next to Postino and across from a Whole Foods Market in Hughes Landing.

LAM’s goal is to create a space that appeals to design lovers. “In our store, you’re likely to find something that catches your attention,” says Lam.

The distinctive look of LAM Furniture

One of the outstanding features of this new store in The Woodlands is that all items in the showroom are available for immediate purchase.

“This way, everyone can be satisfied immediately,” says Lam. “But they also have the opportunity to customize their furniture with fabrics and sizes.”

While most of the furniture is neutral, LAM proves that neutrals aren’t boring. The store is rich in textures and fabrics, and pillows, artwork and accessories add bright pops of color.

Lam notes that the neutral tones help customers appreciate the lines and shapes of the furniture without patterns distracting them. “This way, customers can shop and compare one style to the next,” she says.

Because LAM sells directly from the showroom, you shouldn’t expect the furniture selection to look the same every time you visit.

“We want our customers to feel like they are discovering something new every time they visit,” says Lam. “It will look different from season to season. Maybe not fullybut each vignette will have something new, be it artwork or accessories.”
