Keke Palmer’s latest Instagram post made some of her fans do a double take.
The multi-talented artist celebrated her 31st birthday with a party on Monday and shared a carousel of photos on Instagram.
“I don’t want to stay long, I just want to make something clear! I AM THANKFUL TO GOD FOR ANOTHER YEAR! I’m not here for a long time but I’m here for a community-filled time and this is what I have,” Palmer wrote on IG.
“It’s my birthday, but it’s also the birthday of my community because they are the ones who have brought me this far. We are all alone in this world, we come in alone and we go out alone, but what we share is this experience. Through this shared experience, we know what it is like to be one in community, in this community God lives. In this love, this hope and this joy. I am forever grateful to know and to have that,” she continued.
“That’s 31! More pictures coming because me and my crew looked cool all night!!! (So mad I couldn’t get a solo photo with my dad!!!)” she added.
In the comments, fans also expressed surprise that Palmer posed for a photo with her alleged ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson while holding her 18-month-old son Leodis.
Last November, Palmer accused Jackson of domestic violence and sought a restraining order and sole custody of their son. According to legal documents seen by Blast, the actress apparently dropped the lawsuit against her ex in May.
The notoriously private Hustlers The actress has not commented on the matter. Earlier this month, the parents seemed to have patched up their relationship and were spotted taking their son to the zoo.
However, Palmer responded when fans speculated that the star might be pregnant with her second child based on a photo of a loved one putting their hand on her stomach.
“That hand on the stomach almost made me think ‘we’re getting another cookie,” one user wrote in the comments along with a crying laughing emoji and a heart.
“And I don’t know why she did that, haha, because, honey, the way I drank last night, the ‘baby’ wouldn’t have made it,” Palmer replied.
