Best Flavors for 2024, Ranked

Best Flavors for 2024, Ranked

Forget pumpkin spice season (you certainly won’t).

Dairy Queen has unveiled its Fall Blizzard menu offerings for 2024, and the six of them sound amazing. But in the interest of you, the reader, and myself (to be completely honest, I wrote this on an empty stomach and will be eating out after publication, I swear), I decided to review them.

What are the parameters? It’s a ranking of how much of it I would eat if I were staring at the menu at a local Dairy Queen.

Here they are in order from worst to first, with descriptions via the DQ site:

6. Caramel Java Chip

This product combines “coffee with rich, Chocolate Espresso Crunchy Piece, Caramel and our world-famous soft ice cream.”

I think there are better flavors and I’m not a coffee person.

5. Royal NY Cheesecake

Soft serve ice cream with “rich pieces of real cheesecake and graham cake, with strawberry topping in the center.”

Well, sounds like a mishmash of flavors.

4. Salted Caramel Truffle

“A blend of world famous DQ soft serve ice cream, salted caramel truffles, butterscotch chunks with rich chocolate chips and decadent cocoa fudge.”

Oooo. Maybe I’m underestimating that.

3. French silk cake

“Rich chocolate chips, cake slices and cocoa fudge mixed with delicious DQ soft serve ice cream and topped with whipped cream.”

YES INDEED.

2. Oreo Fudge Brownie

This one contains “cookies, chewy brownies and velvety cocoa fudge.”

I’m a fan of anything Oreo. Sorry, not sorry.

1. Reese’s Pieces Cookie Dough

It is “packed with candy pieces, tons of chocolate chip cookie dough, and a peanut butter topping.”

The GOAT. Give me one. Now. For breakfast.
