Simone Biles celebrates her father Ronald’s 75th birthday – again – after the first celebration at the Olympic Games in Paris: “The sweetest thing”

Simone Biles celebrates an important milestone for her father!

On Saturday, August 24, the seven-time Olympic champion shared a photo on her Instagram stories to celebrate her father Ronald Biles’ 75th birthday.

“My dad is the sweetest, happy 75th,” she wrote over a photo of Ronald wearing a Cleveland Browns jersey in front of brown and orange balloons in what appears to be the family’s living room in Texas.

On August 8, Ronald’s actual birthday, the Biles family celebrated the occasion in Paris during the 2024 Olympic Games. Simone posted photos on Instagram to show off a particularly glamorous gift he received that day.

The gymnast shared a close-up photo of seven champagne glasses with her father and a selfie of herself wearing rhinestone-encrusted sunglasses and her famous “GOAT” (aka “Greatest of All Time”) necklace as she got ready for the special occasion.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD,” she wrote in one of the posts.

Simone’s sister, Adria Biles, also celebrated her father’s birthday on August 8 and posted photos on Instagram showing Ronald wearing some of the jewelry he received from Snoop Dogg.

Ronald showed off the Death Row Records gold necklace in one photo and Adria jokingly wrote: “Snoop gave him a chain, now he don’t know how to act.”

“75 looks great on you! Happy birthday, I love you,” she added.

The Biles family also attended the track and field competitions that day. In one of Simone’s snaps, Ronald can be seen wearing a red “Team USA” cap and holding a chocolate cake with lit candles that say “Happy Birthday.”

Just one day after her father’s birthday, Simone also revealed that her parents had prepared a fashion surprise for her in Paris – a Hermés bag.

“My parents bought me my Hermes bag,” the 11-time Olympic medalist wrote on Threads. “Don’t be mad at me, be mad at your parents.”

Simone has spoken openly in the past about her close relationship with Ronald and her mother Nellie. The couple adopted her and Adria when the gymnast was 6 years old.

In July 2021, during the Tokyo Olympics, Simone thanked her parents for their help after she withdrew from several events to focus on her mental health.

“Thank you for making sacrifices since day 1 so that I could live my dream. But most of all, thank you for always being there for me through all the ups and downs,” Simone wrote on Instagram at the time. “You are the absolute best. I love you all.”
