MThe Longines Global Champions Tour is proud to present the latest episode of the highly anticipated new free content series, “Rising Above presented by Longines.”
In the third installment, Episode 3: Defying Age, we meet with living legend and one of the sport’s most respected figures, the iconic John Whitaker. Whitaker gives viewers an unprecedented insight into his storied career, taking us through his many successes but also sharing how he overcame his setbacks to remain at the top of the sport for so many years.
“If you want to get ahead, you have to change with the times,” Whitaker tells viewers in this moving episode.
This episode of Rising Above details how Whitaker has stayed fit both physically and mentally and has gotten better as he’s gotten older. Whitaker takes viewers on a journey through his legendary career and shows how he’s always come back to the top despite all the setbacks.
In “Defying Age,” which is available to watch for free on all Longines Global Champions Tour social media channels, Whitaker talks about the challenges that come with age, and just when we think Whitaker is at his wits’ end, he returns to give viewers some surprising, valuable advice.
