I have heard of many hacks in my life, but this one is new…
And I guess it wasn’t a very good one to begin with!
A TikTokker named Natasha shared a video on the social media platform, showing viewers why you probably shouldn’t try this particular hack that went viral.
The trick is to take a pillow out of a pillowcase and stuff it with clothes and other items so that it serves as carry-on luggage… and a pillow.
Sounds innocent enough, right?
Well, maybe not…
Natasha said: “Stop letting these websites and social media give you tips and tricks because sometimes it doesn’t work.”
She was flying with Frontier Airlines when a man attempted to board with a pillowcase full of merchandise. He tried to avoid paying a carry-on bag fee by claiming it was just a pillowcase.
Frontier employees refused to listen to this and told the man that he would have to pay for carry-on luggage if he wanted to board the plane.
The man hesitated for a long time because he did not want to pay the baggage fee and waited too long.
The doors to the flight closed and the man decided to hand over the money, but it was too late.
Natasha said Frontier staff told him he had missed his chance, but the man continued to argue and got into an argument with staff.
Eventually police arrived and took the man away.

Now let’s see what the TikTokkers had to say.
One viewer summed it up perfectly.
Another viewer asked a good question.
And this TikTok user was a fan of this video.
This guy made things WAY too complicated.
