Steven Spielberg enjoys a celebratory dinner with his family on the Amalfi Coast on Tuesday.
The 76-year-old Oscar-winning director was all smiles as he sat with his wife Kate Capshaw and daughter Jessica to celebrate her 48th birthday.
Steven wore a gray and white striped shirt tucked into his jeans as he entered the seaside restaurant.
He complemented his relaxed look with a white cap and rounded it off with a black and white scarf tucked into his shirt.
His wife Kate, 69, cut an equally casual figure in bootcut jeans and a white blouse.

The family dinner comes after Steven and his wife celebrated their daughter’s birthday with a trip to Portofino earlier this month.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress Jessica is married to Christopher Gavigan, one of the co-founders of Jessica Alba’s “The Honest Company”. The couple has four children together.
His Italian meal comes after the filmmaker said earlier this year that he had no regrets turning down the offer to direct the first Harry Potter film in 2001 because it would allow him to watch his children grow up.
The Oscar winner had the chance to direct “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” the first film in the wizarding series based on the novels by JK Rowling, but he decided to forgo the opportunity to spend time with his family.
In a conversation for Reliance Entertainment with Indian director SS Rajamouli, Steven explained, “There were several films that I didn’t want to do.”
“I decided to turn down the first Harry Potter so I could spend the next year and a half basically with my family and watch my young children grow up.”
He added: “So I sacrificed a great franchise, which I look back on today and am very happy about, to be with my family.”
“Kate and I started to have a family and had children. I had to decide to take a job that would take me to another country for four or five months where I wouldn’t see my family every day.”
