Guards in college basketball, and especially in the SEC, are as tough as they come. However, Rowe takes her toughness on defense to a new level. Her perimeter defense is unmatched, but she can also be a headache on the inside. Her ability to direct offense and create extra possessions can literally make the difference in a close game.

And when she gets going on offense from the three, she is hot.

Collect fees and create additional property

Cassidy Rowe is best known for her ability to bring charges.

In the home stretch against Florida, Rowe drew three charges, thwarting three scoring opportunities for the Gators in a game Kentucky ultimately won by four points. Needless to say, every possession counts, and if you can earn extra possessions, that’s a huge plus.

Rowe does a good job of getting into position and ultimately carrying out the attack. That is a quality that, surely, could can be used universally, but Rowe is unique when it comes to putting her body on the line to turn the momentum in favor of the “Cats”.

It doesn’t take long for it to get hot

In addition, Rowe can also quickly reach his peak form from three-point range.

In a team with Maddie Scherr, Sarah Tyler and several other scorers, Rowe was one of the better shooters when she was on a roll. Whether it was a planned shot (as shown below) or Rowe simply pulling the trigger, you can be sure her shot will hit the bottom of the nylon.

Just in case Kenny Brooks Since this team didn’t need any more shooters, he brought one back with No. 5.

Clearing the perimeter

One of the reasons Rowe is such a good shooter is because she creates space for herself. Coaches talk about moving without the ball, and she does that perfectly.

When the offense stalled frequently last season, it was often Rowe who found the gap at the three-point line and created just enough space to fire the ball.

There will be times when the offense stalls while the shot clock is down to single digits. You need someone on the team who can make a difference on the fly in those situations. Of course, Kentucky will have several of those players this year, and Rowe will be one of them.
