“Big Brother” star Zach Rance has issued a “cry for help” after receiving thousands of death threats and harassing messages in the 10 years since appearing on the competition series.
The reality star took to YouTube on Monday, where he spoke at length about the harassment he faced… mostly due to his fans’ disappointment that he never got into a relationship with his roommate. Frankie Grande – and there were also many dark threats.
As Zach explained, Big Brother fans were very interested in his flirtation with Frankie – commonly called “Zankie” – and repeatedly expressed their frustration over the failed affair.
Zach went on to give examples of the harassment he has experienced since the end of his season in 2014…including various homophobic slurs, anti-Semitic insults, and outright death threats he has received via email and text message.
Zach says he printed out four months’ worth of emails… and filled four huge folders.
ZR initially thought the outrage would subside… especially as the years went by, when he came out as bisexual in 2020. But unfortunately for Zach, the bullying got worse and more concerning over time.
He added: “It got to the point where I didn’t know what to do anymore. I was kind of scared that whoever was sending me the emails would physically harm me or my family.”
According to Zach, he even threatened to harm his younger brother in an email. Peyton …and said they would harass him until he committed suicide.
Now Zach is taking action and asking “Zankie” fans for help… in the hopes that those who have participated in “Big Brother” groups on Pinterest and other platforms can shed light on who is behind the terrifying messages.
