The Toy history film series is one of the most successful and popular animated series of all time. However, that doesn’t mean that fans support every episode. In fact, popular filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has stated that he refuses to watch at all Toy Story 4 for an important reason.
Tarantino revealed his stance on the Toy history Film series that began in 1995 in conversation with Bill Maher. The two discussed a number of topics in Maher’s Club Random, and at one point the topic Toy Story 4 came up.
It may be interesting to see someone like Tarantino thinking so passionately about this topic. Surprisingly, however, his views seem to be shared by most fans of the franchise. Especially in light of the recent announcements regarding Toy Story 5 and Disney’s controversial decision to continue the storyline with another Pixar film.
Here’s what Tarantino shared about Club Random:
“The third part is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen… I have no desire to see the fourth part. You finished the story as perfectly as you could, so I don’t care if it’s good, I’m done.”
Fans will be happy to hear that Tarantino is not only Toy Story 3 is one of the best Toy history films, but he is firmly convinced that “one of the best films” He is “ever seen.” That’s an impressive statement, especially considering how many films Tarantino has seen and supported throughout his life.
Naturally, Toy Story 3 finds the toys passed on to a new child, while Andy, now an adult, decides to finally part ways with Woody and his other childhood toys. It’s a bittersweet ending that comes after the toys nearly escape their own deaths, but it’s easy to see why fans need nothing more. Toy Story 4 certainly has its advantages.
Fortunately, there is another Toy history film in the works, fans can still do much like Tarantino and complete their marathons with Toy Story 3 shortly before reaching Toy Story 4. At least it’s a solid ending and fans can decide for themselves whether they want to stop the story here or see what Woody and his friends did afterwards.
