Keke Palmer put an end to pregnancy rumors during her 31st birthday party with ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson this weekend. Speculation began after Palmer shared an Instagram photo of a loved one with their hand on her stomach.
One fan noticed, writing, “The hand on the stomach almost made me think ‘we’re getting another cookie!” Palmer quickly cleared up the situation, writing, “No idea why her ass (put her hand there) haha because honey the way I was drinking last night the ‘baby’ wouldn’t have made it.”
Palmer’s birthday party on Sunday was a glamorous affair. The actress wore a yellow silk dress reminiscent of Kate Hudson’s role in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. She complemented her elegant outfit with a loose bun, diamond earrings, a gold necklace and a bracelet.
Palmer’s one-year-old son Leodis also attended the celebration wearing a mint tuxedo, black dress pants and dress shoes. Jackson arrived at the party wearing a blue short-sleeved button-down shirt, suspenders, bow tie and black slacks.
Palmer posted several photos from the event, including some with her son and Jackson. One photo showed the former couple giving their son a kiss on the cheek. Palmer wrote in her Instagram caption, “I AM GRATEFUL TO GOD FOR ANOTHER YEAR!” She continued, “I’m not here for a long time, but I’m here for a community-filled time and this is what I have.” Palmer also thanked her fans, saying, “I’m forever grateful.”
Palmer and Jackson’s relationship has been marked by some challenges. In May, Palmer lifted a previously filed domestic violence restraining order against Jackson.
She accused him of physical abuse, including destroying her personal belongings, hitting her in front of her child, and threatening to commit suicide if she left him. Palmer demanded sole custody and residency of her son, Leodis.
Jackson responded to the allegations in December, claiming Palmer was the aggressor. He claimed Palmer punched him at a party in August 2021 and choked him during an argument in February 2022. Despite these serious allegations, Palmer and Jackson began dating in May 2021 and had a son in February 2023.
