Browns lose 23-10 to Packers in preseason

The Browns won the coin toss and moved the game to the second half, giving Browns fans the chance to see Cleveland execute the new dynamic kickoff for the first time – which ended in a touchback.

The Packers needed no time to find the end zone. Quarterback Jordan Love found wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks on the third play of the game and scored a 65-yard touchdown.

K Cade York put the Browns on the scoreboard with a 55-yard field goal after a 27-yard run led by QB Jameis Winston. Winston found WR Michael Woods in the middle of the field for an 18-yard gain to put the Browns in field goal range.

QB Tyler Huntley took over for Winston after the first drive. On fourth-and-four, Huntley made a nice running throw to an open wide receiver David Bell, but the play was negated by an offensive pass interference penalty against wide receiver Cedric Tillman, forcing the Browns to punt.

The Browns lost the ball on the ensuing drive and Green Bay marched 77 yards down the field before reaching the end zone. Packers RB Emmanuel Wilson had 36 rushing yards on the drive as Cleveland struggled to contain the Packers rushing attack.

The Packers ended the first half with a 58-second drive that ended in a field goal, extending their lead to 17-3 at halftime.
