Filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar showed his quirky side with a touch of romance by wishing his wife and actress Shibani Dandekar on her birthday. Taking to Instagram, Farhan shared a stunning picture of Shibani. The photo shows her smiling while looking away from the camera. In the picture, Shibani wore a white top with a jacket and a big hat, which Farhan poked fun at in his caption. Captioning the post, he wrote, “Happy birthday Shu. I don’t think anyone has ever looked so beautiful balancing a sada dosa on their head. @shibaniakhtar loves you more than you know.”

As soon as the post was shared, fans and industry people chimed in in the comments section. Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Haha happy birthday Shibani.” Farhan’s sister and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar commented, “Hahahahaha. Happy birthday.” Reacting to Farhan’s caption, Shibani’s sister and VJ Anusha Dandekar also commented, “And the masala is in her brain. Happy birthday chicken.”

Farhan’s stepmother and veteran actress Shabana Azmi also left a hilarious comment saying, “Farhan!! For a moment I actually thought it was a sada dosa!” Actors Chunky Panday and Amrita Arora also left their congratulations in the comments.

Farhan and Shibani, who dated for nearly three years, got married on February 19, 2022, at Farhan’s family farm in Khandala in the presence of close friends and family members. Farhan was previously married to celebrity hairdresser Adhuna Bhabani. The two married in 2000 and separated in 2017. They are parents to two daughters, Shakya and Akira.

In the coming months, Farhan will return to the director’s chair after a long time and shoot Don 3, which stars Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani.
