Blancpain’s Villeret collection includes the brand’s most classic and elegant watches. They offer a wide range of functions, from simple time-only models to more complex complications such as minute repeater, perpetual calendar, second time zone, chronograph and more. Recognizable by their distinctive two-tier case design, these watches are a testament to aesthetic excellence. They masterfully combine exquisite dial decorations with refined details, ensuring visual appeal and legibility despite the frequent display of multiple displays.
At the end of 2020, Blancpain unveiled the Extraplate Boutique Edition, a time and date watch that introduced a striking new dial color to the brand’s range: a bright green complemented by a yellow gold case. To mark the leap year of 2024, Blancpain presented a version of the Villeret Perpetual Calendar with a rose gold case and the same green-tinted sunray-brushed dial, suggesting that this pine green will soon be found on other models in the Villeret collection, with and without complications. We didn’t have to wait long, and this August Blancpain unveiled four new additions to the Villeret family: the Extraplate, Quantième Complet, Quantième Phases de Lune and Tourbillon Carrousel models; here’s what we know.
Villeret Extraplate 6651
The Extraplate is a refined time and date model with signature Roman numerals, central hour, minute and second hands and a date window at 3 o’clock. It is housed in a distinctive 40mm red gold case with short, slim lugs. The case is just 8.7mm thick and features sapphire crystals on the front and back, the latter revealing the in-house automatic caliber 1151. This movement features a silicon balance spring and two barrels connected in series and offers a remarkable 100-hour power reserve, consistent with the previous 6651 references.
What is new is the dial colour – while previous red gold Extraplate versions featured predominantly white and silver dials, along with a couple in blue and a striking black with a lacquered sunburst pattern, the new red gold Villeret Extraplate adds a vibrant green to the range. This standout piece is paired with a brown leather strap and costs CHF 20,300.

Villeret Quantième Complet 6654A
Aside from its new presentation – a pink gold case with a sun-brushed green dial and pink gold accents – the latest Villeret Quantième Complet retains the classic features of the previous 6654 references. The two-tiered case measures 40mm in diameter and 10.94mm thick and features a sapphire crystal to protect the dial and a display case back. The green dial, complemented by contrasting pink gold Roman numerals and elaborate central hands for hours, minutes, seconds and date (displayed on a recessed track), also includes apertures for the day and month above the center and a moon phase indicator below, creating a harmonious and balanced design that ensures legibility.
This complete calendar watch is powered by the finely decorated automatic manufacture caliber 6654, which offers a power reserve of 72 hours. It also features a safety mechanism that prevents damage to the movement when adjusting the calendar functions. Adjustments can be easily made via patented correctors under the lugs, so no pusher tool is required. The price of the new Villeret Quantième Complet is CHF 26,600.

Villeret Tourbillon Carrousel 2322
An exceptional watch that takes the aesthetics of the green dial and pink gold case to a remarkable technical level, the new Villeret Tourbillon Carrousel features two rotating escapements: a tourbillon at 12 o’clock and a carousel at 6 o’clock. Blancpain first introduced this innovative concept in 2013, where the tourbillon uses one energy source to both move the balance and rotate the cage, while the carousel uses two energy sources – one for the escapement and another to regulate the rotation of the cage, with both regulators connected by a differential gear.
These two historic complications, designed to counteract the effects of gravity on the balance spring, are presented on the rich green dial, which also features a date sub-dial at 3 o’clock. The central hour and minute hands and Roman numerals are made of red gold, reflecting the elegance of the references mentioned above. The red gold case measures 44.6 mm in diameter and 11.94 mm thick. The crown is located at 4 o’clock. The display case back offers a generous view of the intricately decorated, in-house, manually wound caliber 2322, which consists of 379 parts and has a power reserve of 168 hours, with an indicator on the movement side.
Alongside the avant-garde, limited edition platinum Tourbillon Carrousel and the model introduced in 2013, this new red gold with green dial is the only other available version of the Tourbillon Carrousel. The price is CHF 329,900.

Villeret Quantième Phases de Luna 6126
The new Quantième Phases de Lune is a ladies’ watch that combines Blancpain’s expertise in calendar movements with an exquisite design. Housed in a compact 33.2mm red gold case, it stands out for its striking green dial – the only model in the current 6126 series to be available in a color other than white. The watch’s sophisticated appearance is further enhanced by a diamond-set bezel and eight diamond indexes on the dial, creating an exceptional look that perfectly balances technical sophistication and luxury. The watch is powered by the automatic caliber 913QL.P, which has the same safety features as the larger full calendar caliber 6654. However, settings are made via a caseband corrector located at 10 o’clock for the date and at 8 o’clock for the moon phase. The caliber 913QL.P offers a power reserve of 40 hours, operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and features a silicon balance spring for improved performance.
