For Revord, publishing is a “dream come true” and his book is due to be published in autumn 2025

Raegan Revord has long been an avid reader and now wants to become an author herself.

The Young Sheldon The 16-year-old actress announced on Tuesday that she will publish her first young adult novel. Rules for fake friendsThe book is scheduled to be published in fall 2025 by Wednesday Books, an imprint of St. Martin’s Publishing Group.

Rules for fake friends follows Avery Blackwell, who attends Brighton College, her mother’s alma mater, after her mother’s death. While studying at Brighton, Avery meets Charlie, a girl who asks Avery to pretend to be her friend and who helps her complete a scavenger hunt left by Avery’s mother.

“I’ve been a fan of Wednesday Books since I started reading young adult fiction, so publishing my debut novel under Eileen’s expertise and guidance is a dream come true,” says Revord.

The actress currently plays Missy Cooper in Young Sheldonthe CBS spinoff prequel of The Big Bang Theorywhose final season premieres this month. She is also an active member of the literary community and describes herself as an “avid reader.”

In 2022, she founded her book club, Read with Raegan. The online community, which currently has over 55,000 followers on Instagram, is a place where young adults can discuss books, listen to author interviews, and connect with other readers.
