Fourth Wing publisher Liz Pelletier and former Crooked Highway president Sherryl Clark have formed Premeditated Productions and signed a three-year first-look TV and film deal with Amazon MGM Studios.
With the release of Premeditated, Pelletier, CEO and founder of Fourth Wing publishing house Entangled Publishing, will license Entangled’s extensive back catalog to her and Clark’s new film, television and games production company. Bad Robot veteran Clark (“Cloverfield,” “The Gorge”) will run the studio and oversee Premeditated projects for film and television.

The US-based indie publisher is best known for Rebecca Yarros’ mega-hit romance Fourth Wing and its sequel Iron Flame, which was published by Entangled’s imprint Red Tower Books and is currently in the works as a television series on Amazon. Other notable titles from the US-based indie publisher include Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer (forthcoming from Legendary), Five Broken Blades by Mai Corland, Heavenbreaker by Sara Wolf, The Wren in the Holly Library by KA Linde, Sweet Nightmare by Tracy Wolff, and 69 Million Things I Hate About You by Kira Archer.

Entangled Publishing is represented by Independent Artist Group (IAG), which also represented Premeditated in the Amazon deal. Entangled and Premeditated are also represented by Caitlin DiMotta at Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard LLP.
