Blake Lively gets lots of love from her sister Robyn Lively on her birthday.

On Sunday, August 25, Robyn shared a carousel of photos of herself and her younger sister for her 37th birthday and wrote in the caption, “This is my birthday queen!”

The first photo, a selfie, showed Blake in the background and Robyn, 52, in the foreground, as It ends with us The actress posed next to balloons. In the following snaps, the two were seen together for another selfie, embracing on the beach and a throwback to the 90s.

“I love this girl, my sister, my best friend, my little piggyback buddy!” Robyn continued, referring to the pose in the old photo showing Blake riding on her back.

The actress also shared a full-body photo of the siblings in front of a beach backdrop in her Instagram stories, writing “Happy birthday Sissy ILY” and tagging Blake.

Robyn’s posts for her sister’s birthday come amid some controversy that Blake is at the center of the surrounding It ends with usincluding rumors of tension with director/co-star Justin Baldoni and allegations that the press tour for the film did not sufficiently focus on the issue of domestic violence.

A fan comment on Robyn’s post seemed to address the controversy: “Blake is a lovely person!! I hope she knows that the crowd of people who love her is much bigger than the negative voices. Happy birthday Blake!!”

“Thank you for this,” Robyn replied to the comment, adding raised hands and red heart emojis.

Blake and Baldoni’s co-star Brandon Sklenar posted a statement on Instagram on August 20, imploring fans to stop spending their energy “denigrating the women” who worked on the film.

“There is not a single person involved in the making of this film who was not aware of the responsibility we had in doing so,” he wrote in this statement, among other things. “A responsibility to all women who have experienced generational trauma – domestic violence – or struggle to look in the mirror and love who they see.”
