She doesn’t skimp on fashion either. A true Leo, the “Levitating” singer wears the most eye-catching looks, always showing off designer underwear. On Thursday, August 22 (her actual birth date), Lipa kicked off her birthday in style in a sheer rhinestone-embellished top. Underneath, she showed off her orange Gucci bikini set with gold hardware. Of course, that was just one of many chic outfits that were appropriate for the occasion. The dress she wore to her dinner party was even better.
The “New Rules” singer wore a sheer beige dress with red swatches that fell over her torso and derriere. The lingerie-like number by Dilara Findikoglu featured hook closures at the center and one hip. As if the fashionable dress wasn’t sheer enough, Lipa left some hooks undone to create a hip-cutout moment.
If the dress looks familiar, that’s because it originally debuted on Findikoglu’s runway for LFW’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection. However, Lipa, who has always been a style star, made the look her own. Instead of tucking in the pieces of fabric for softer crimson accents, she let hers hang out for an edgier look.
Special mention: your contrast underwear
That wasn’t the only difference between the two looks. Instead of opting for barely-there nude underwear like the model, Lipa wore black lingerie for a bigger, bolder contrast.
She chose a discreet black bra and a particularly cheeky, tiny lace thong.
