Incubus kicked off their 2024 Morning View + the Hits Tour this weekend in Detroit, Michigan, where they played their 2001 album Morning view in full length. The tour follows Morning View XXIII, a re-recorded version of the album, released in May.
Incubus wanted to celebrate their 20th anniversary Morning view Celebration in 2021, but the pandemic had other plans – instead of the full-fledged tour they have now finally started, Incubus held a special livestream performance in the house that Morning view was recorded in October 2021.

The group also celebrated the album with a hometown performance at the Hollywood Bowl last fall, where Lizzo guested and played flute on the closing track, “Aqueous Transmission.” They had previously brought their breakthrough 1999 LP with them. The “Morning View” tour began with the opening acts Coheed and Cambria, who accompany Incubus on every tour date. Then Incubus tore through Morning view from start to finish. After a short encore break, Incubus returned to the stage to perform some of their non-Morning view Hits like “Anna Molly,” “Stellar,” “Pardon Me,” “Dig,” and “Drive.” They even played a cover of the Beatles’ “Come Together.” Check out the setlist below and see photos from the weekend’s shows in Detroit and Chicago.
Incubus still have a handful of dates left on their “Morning View + the Hits Tour,” which continues over the next two weeks with dates in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Tampa, Austin and more and concludes with a show in San Francisco on September 12. Tickets for Incubus are available here.
