Green Day and 7-Eleven are teaming up to sell coffee, and they also want you to get a 7-Eleven tattoo

Green Day is breaking new ground. For several years, the band has been producing coffee under the name “Punk Bunny Coffee.” (It was previously called Oakland Coffee Works). Now, Punk Bunny will be partnering with the punkiest of multinational convenience stores – 7-Eleven. For a limited time, you can get Punk Bunny Coffee at 7-Eleven. A press release states: “America’s daily coffee routine is about to be turned on its head. On August 28, 7-Eleven, Inc. will introduce an exclusive ‘Anniversary’ blend of Green Day’s Punk Bunny Coffee brand at 7-Eleven®, Speedway® and Stripes® stores nationwide for a limited time. This epic collaboration was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of 7-Eleven, which developed the idea of ​​freshly brewed coffee in to-go cups, as well as the 30th anniversary of Green Day’s breakthrough album Dookie and the 20th anniversary of American Idiot.”

Also: “On August 28th starting at 8:00 a.m. ET, the first 50 fans to show up at 7-Eleven at 800 6th Ave in New York City and get a custom 7-Eleven x Punk Bunny tattoo will receive free 7-Eleven coffee for 711 days. The one-of-a-kind, semi-permanent tattoo was designed by Lady Cobra, a fellow Bay Area tattoo artist who will be on hand at the event and will be tattooing some fans herself.”
