Tori Spelling And Brian Austin Green on-air found out what – or who – caused them to lose touch for 18 years after they worked together on Beverly Hills, 90210.

On the Monday, Aug. 26, episode of Green’s “Oldish” podcast, he asked Spelling, 51, why she thought they hadn’t spoken since the Fox drama’s 2000 finale.

“I remember our last conversation and the last thing we said to each other 18 years ago. I cried,” she recalls. “I remember crying because we were going to lose touch because we were so close. It was almost like a divorce or something.”

Green, 51, said he tried to remain friends with Spelling but believed she was not interested.

“I remember (your then boyfriend and our former co-star) Vincent (Young)’s house to see you several days after filming and try to maintain the connection. But it got to the point where I just never got that from you,” Green claimed. “And then I remember being in the 90210 DVD release party and you were married to (now separated husband) Dean (McDermott) and I was with (now ex-wife) Megan (Fox) when we were still dating – you came and never said hello to me once. I just kept missing you and then you were gone.”

Green and Spelling played the love interests David and Donna in Beverly Hills, 90210 For 10 seasons. At the beginning of the series, they were also together in real life. Young joined in 1997 as Noah – one of Donna’s lovers.

“It was just like she was saying, ‘She just doesn’t want to be my friend.’ That’s really how I felt,” he admitted of their argument. “I tried visiting you and calling you. When that wasn’t reciprocated, I gave up. I didn’t know what was going on in your life.”

Spelling clarified that her “complicated relationship” with Young, 41, played a role, adding: “For my part, I lost myself in that relationship again, as I’ve lost myself in previous relationships. That relationship was not a good relationship for me and toward the end I was caught up in it and things were not good.”

Spelling, who dated Young for two years until they split in 2001, said she “panicked” when Green visited her. The actress noted that Green’s relationship with Vanessa Marcil also influenced the situation. Green and Marcil were together from 1999 to 2003 after she joined the cast as Gina in seasons 9 and 10.

“It was frustrating to see this relationship from the perspective of a friend who loves someone so much. Seeing what’s going on and how your friend is being treated and not being OK with it,” Spelling said of Green and Marcil’s romance. “But also knowing that you can’t really say anything because the person has to have their own experiences and go through their own journey.”

It wasn’t easy for Spelling to come to terms with the fact that she “didn’t like someone for Green.”
