“On the occasion of moving to the new house, the owner of the house decided to use my services and even did it as a gift for his wife,” says interior designer Roni Shani – Pedelstein. According to her, “she talked to me on the phone and wanted to continue, but she was afraid that the price would not be suitable for her from a financial point of view and for a moment she considered designing the house herself. I received a call from her husband who asked to continue and so the project of their new house began.”

The couple has two children. When the little one was still in the womb during the project, they refined their tastes and needs and opted for a Nordic style, warm and cozy. “We dismantled the stair railing and created a carpentry element made of an impressive partition made of wooden slats that reinforces the lattice. On the other side, at the entrance, there is a cupboard that combines storage space, a bench and open niches.” For the kitchen, a white tone was chosen with a bold herringbone paneling that enhances the appearance and adds warmth and appearance. On the top of the paneling, wooden shelves with elegant and useful accessories were integrated. For the dining area, a bench was chosen that stands close to the wall, adding playfulness to the space, and the picture with the pine cones was comfortably placed in the magical corner of the house.

The living room was furnished with a leather sofa that came to Tel Mond from the previous house. “We used it because it is perfect for the house and especially perfect for small children. We customized additional furniture with soft fabric armchairs, a buffet and a wooden table, as well as a black drinks cabinet with Galina glass for it,” explains the designer. Going up the stairs, one enters the master bedroom, where a perfect wallpaper panel with an interesting texture was chosen for the wall behind the bed, a closet with a hidden door that leads to the perfect bathroom, for which a perfect dark-colored tile was chosen, purchased from Mody. “As soon as we saw the tile, we realized that it was just right for a bathroom.” For the children’s shower, we chose a mustard-colored tile, also ordered from Mody, with an industrial texture combined with wooden joinery. “I’m just in love with this shower. It turned out so beautiful and spacious, pleasant and not childish,” says Shani Feldstein.

We designed the children’s rooms according to the age of the children, but with the opportunity to change, grow and develop together with them. For one child, we designed a particularly cute wall with hedgehog stickers, a closet in a green tone and pleasant and calm accessories. In the daughter’s room, we decided to go a little beyond the standard pink color palette. She chose wall stickers with prostitutes and stuck them on the wall herself to the height she reached. This makes it even more accurate and perfect and gives the feeling of belonging to the room. A shelter is arranged for her, creating a fun and inviting sleeping area.
