Uproxx Cover star Latto is celebrating Atlanta in full force. Yesterday (August 9), the rapper “Big Mama” invited her fans to her Sugar-honey iced tea Album release party in a cultural center of Atlanta.
While visitors experienced special moments at the Cascade, it was the entrance to the ice rink that really stole the show. Just as guests entered the space, a giant inflatable figure of Latto’s butt could be seen towering over all who dared to walk by. Supporters immediately took to social media to share clips of the inflatable figure (see example) Here).
The creation was impressively accurate as replicas go. It even included a modified version of Latto’s infamous leopard-print panties (which fetched nearly six figures on eBay). There was one notable change to the inflatable figure, however – two hard-to-miss tattoos. To ensure the figure couldn’t be mistaken for someone else, the manufacturer embroidered Latto’s name on each cheek.
During the party, Latto kept it modest, wearing a red halter top, jeans by Apple Bottoms and sneakers. She was inspired by Lauren London’s ATL Character New New.
There are countless ways to promote an album, but an inflatable figure of your Georgia peach is by far the pinnacle.
