William out of uniform in Outlander Season 8 leaked photos says a lot

The leaked photos from the filming of Outlander Season 8 certainly leaves us excited about the stories to come. One of them is all about William, and the leaked photos show us something important.

The photos appear to be from the last two episodes of Outlander Season 8. These are the last two episodes of the series! It’s hard to say what storylines will be covered, since we know that Season 8 covers Book 9 and then concludes the story. However, William’s clothing tells us a lot about something that’s coming his way.

When we have seen characters who are in the military, they have worn their British Army uniform. We have only seen characters without this clothing when they are either no longer in the military or are working undercover.

In fact, there were a few episodes in Outlander Season 7A, when William wore civilian clothes. He sent messages on behalf of Captain Richardson and had to do so undercover.

He is back in civilian clothes in the Outlander Photos from season 8, and that tells us that something important is about to happen.

William learns the truth that Jamie is his father in Written with my own heart and soul. Fans were excited to see him learn this in the TV series, knowing what it meant for his overall story. Given his choice of clothing, it seems like he knew it.

After William learns that he is not the son of an earl, he resigns from the British Army. He takes off his red coat and starts wearing civilian clothes. It is likely that this storyline will come up later, and we see William discovering who he is now as he learns his true parentage.

William doesn’t have it easy. He is going through a serious identity crisis. Who is he if he is not the earl’s biological son? Who is he if he is actually Jamie Fraser’s illegitimate son? How did this happen? Was his mother raped? He has so many questions, which are understandable. Of course, he has the same stubbornness as Fraser when it comes to finding out the truth, and that means disappearing from everyone who has loved him for a long time.

In the end, he begins to come to terms with who he is and what it all means to him. At the end of Go tell the bees I’m gonehe turns to Jamie Fraser for help, and it looks like we will see the consequences of this in Outlander Season 8.
