But thanks to the folks at X, formerly Twitter, there’s a unique way to enjoy your refreshing fruit without making a mess. The account Today Years Old, which has 1 million followers, is known for sharing handy hacks with its fans.

His latest social media post has certainly left foodies amazed after he shared how to properly cut a pineapple.

The caption read: “The way nature intended us to eat pineapple.”

In the insightful video, the pineapple is neatly divided into several segments, so you simply have to tear off a piece to enjoy. Since the segments on the fruit are always separated, you only have to peel one piece for yourself.

And it seems we weren’t the only ones who noticed this revelation, as the post has garnered 100,600 views and 640 likes since it was published on August 23.

One commented: “Wow, I didn’t know that.” And another added: “I have to try that!”

A third commented: “I thought this was common knowledge. If not, it’s because you buy pre-processed food at the supermarket.” And a fourth noted: “This doesn’t work.”

The discussion took a turn as some found the method extreme and one critic ranted sharply: “Only psychos would do something like that.”
