Alessandra Ambrosio celebrated her daughter Anja Mazur’s 16th birthday at the weekend.
The 43-year-old Brazilian model, who was spotted playing volleyball in Santa Monica this month, took to Instagram to mark the special occasion and pay tribute to her firstborn child.
She shared a collection of black and white photos of herself and Anja, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Jamie Mazur, and added a heartfelt caption.
“Happy 16th birthday, my dear Anja! Today is an important milestone on your way to becoming an extraordinary woman,” she began.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel gushed: “I couldn’t be more proud of the incredible person you are growing up to be – strong, kind, intelligent, creative and beautiful inside and out.”

At the end of the loving message, Alessandra wrote: “Here’s to many more years of love, laughter and adventure!”

The proud mother, who is also mother to 12-year-old son Noah, signed in Portuguese: ‘Feliz aniversário, minha Princesa!’ Mamãe te ama.’
In another post, an Instagram reel, Ambrosio put together a montage of Anja from when she was a newborn.
In the caption she wrote: “And how great is my love for you… My doll, princess, the most beautiful flower in the world, my ANJA.”
