We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: sometimes it’s the little details that really bring a room together. Small decorative pieces or fun art prints can really bring a room to life, and that includes candles or vases. And if you’re looking for a more rustic or boho-inspired vase, Aldi will be selling a rattan vase this week that might just do the trick. It also looks like a Crate & Barrel vase, but costs six times as much.
From August 28th to September 3rd, Aldi is selling a Huntington Home rattan vase for $14.99 in the Aldi Finds section. The vase comes in two styles. One vase is a little more curved than the other, but both have a foot and a lip at the opening. The more curved vase tapers before the base of the foot and again near the top. Both are made of rattan, of course, and are “hand-woven basket vases,” as the website says.

Both measure 7.6 inches in diameter and 11.8 inches tall, although it’s not clear if that diameter is the base or the widest part of the vase. Still, as Aldi’s website says, it’s a good vase for “flowers, branches, or pampas grass,” although you probably don’t want to put anything in it that needs water. Aldi’s website doesn’t say if it comes with a hose or a vase, but if it doesn’t, this basket vase won’t hold water.

As mentioned, this rattan vase from Aldi is similar to other models on the market, including the Crate & Barrel Medium Handwoven Seagrass Vase, which is currently priced at $89.95. As stated in the title, this indoor-only vase is 17 inches tall and 14 inches in diameter. This vase is a bit rounder than Aldi’s, but has a very similar appeal. But like Aldi’s vase, it’s also handwoven and made with “seagrass, rattan, and galvanized wire” for the frame. Again, it specifically mentions that it’s “not waterproof,” which also makes it ideal for decorative items that don’t require water.
