Tony Khan says the atmosphere at AEW Collision is more relaxed and the dressing room is better set up than a year ago

The President of the AEW is the center of attention in the scrum.

At the conclusion of the AEW All In media scrum/post-show, Tony Khan answered questions from the reporters in attendance. When responding to a question from POST Wrestling’s Neal Flanagan, Khan mentioned that Jimmy Jacobs has the best attendance rate of the backstage staff. He added that Jacobs takes a lot of criticism online and said Jimmy is unbiased when it comes to ideas and wrestlers.

Further, Khan started talking about AEW Collision and thinks it is a much easier environment than it was a year ago. Khan said the locker room is in a much better place and the meeting process is easier. Khan was referring to what happened between CM Punk and Jack Perry at All In 2023.

Other highlights from Khan’s Scrum session are listed below:

  • He spoke about the reaction Big Bill received in the UK, calling Bill “super talented” and saying he was with someone clever in Chris Jericho.
  • On the subject of Daniel Garcia’s future, Khan does not want to discuss everyone’s contract status, but believes it is a good sign that Garcia was part of All In.
  • AEW received $1.275 million in tax credits from Ohio and Khan said he would like to do more in the state.
  • When asked about Nigel McGuinness, Khan spoke positively about Nigel and added that he will continue to work as a commentator.
