Taylor Swift was honored by London’s Wembley Stadium with the gift of a personalized guitar as she became the first artist to perform at the venue eight times during a single tour.

“In recognition of her becoming the first solo artist to play Wembley Stadium eight times on a single tour, we have gifted Taylor Swift her very own personalized Wembley guitar,” the venue announced in a message on the arena’s social media pages on Friday, August 23.

“Bye, Taylor. It was lovely.”

Wembley presented the 34-year-old pop singer with a blue and black acoustic guitar that matched the venue’s exterior colors and was engraved with the words “So Long, Taylor” and “It’s Been a Wembley Love Story” as a tribute to her hits. Love story And Goodbye, London.

The date of each show was engraved in the center of the guitar.

They also left a handwritten note between the strings of the guitar.

“Thank you for eight unforgettable nights under the (Wembley) arch. You are now officially the highest-selling artist to ever perform at Wembley Stadium and we think that’s a cause for celebration,” the note said.

“We hope your very own Wembley Stadium guitar reminds you of your record-breaking performances here in London. We look forward to seeing you again soon.”

From June to August, Swift headlined eight shows at Wembley as part of the Eras Tour.

On Tuesday, August 20, she officially ended the concerts, breaking the record for most sold-out stadiums during a single tour for the first time in thirty years.
