Kathie Lee Gifford is looking forward to spending a special Mother’s Day with her grandchildren.

Speaking to PEOPLE at QVC’s Q50 party in Las Vegas, the former Today The 70-year-old co-host revealed how she plans to spend Mother’s Day this year. Although she says she’s “never been big on holidays” and tries to “make every day special,” the proud Bubbe hopes to spend the day with her family.

“I’ve told my kids every year not to give me anything. Just be with me. And we FaceTime almost every day, early in the morning, because they have two little ones – my son has one and Cassidy has a little one.”

“They are just precious. I haven’t wanted any presents in a long time unless they were to make a little picture for Bubbe. And things like that make my heart sing. I also love singing to them and making up naughty little songs.”

“She is an incredible mother,” Gifford raved.

Jenna Bush Hager turned to Cassidy and said they needed to talk about her little boy.

“It’s just the best,” Cassidy said of motherhood, with Gifford adding, “We call him Finnston Churchill.”

When asked how becoming a mother changed her life, Cassidy said, “It literally changed everything. Just seeing the joy he finds in everything; just that childlike wonder at every little thing. He’s just perfect, but I’m incredibly biased.”

In December, Gifford shared photos from her Christmas celebrations with her son Cody’s family. In the photos, the bubbly admired her son’s two little boys – Ford Matthew, 5 months, and Frankie, 23 months – as “little miracles! 💚❤️.”

“I am so blessed to be able to spend this very special week with my growing family. God is so good and I am so thankful,” the excited grandmother wrote in her Instagram caption. “I pray for His blessings on all of you today and in the year ahead.”
