Jennifer Garner enjoys dinner with boyfriend John Miller despite divorce from Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Garner enjoyed some alone time with her boyfriend John Miller amid reports that her relationship with ex-husband Ben Affleck had been “rough” for him.

The “13 Going on 30” star appeared relaxed as she left a restaurant in Malibu, California with the businessman on Saturday.

They all walked to their car smiling before Miller helped the actress get in.

Garner, 52, looked stunning in a gray crew neck sweater and a simple necklace, while Miler, 46, wore a blue flannel shirt and white T-shirt.

The two apparently enjoyed their time together after Miller reportedly struggled with the mother of three acting as a “marriage counselor” and “mediator” between her ex Affleck (52) and his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez.

“John doesn’t like sharing Jen and there is a rift between her and Ben,” an insider told the Daily Mail last week.

“He wishes it wasn’t like that because he knows they’re family, but it affects him as much as it affects anyone else.”

According to the source, Miller is not afraid of Garner getting back together with Affleck, but it has been “tough” for him.

“John is looking forward to the separation between Ben and J.Lo being finalized so he can focus on (Garner),” the insider continued.

The “Alias” star and Miller began dating in 2018, shortly after she finalized her divorce from Affleck, whom she separated from in 2015 after 10 years of marriage.

Garner and the “Gone Girl” actor have children together: Violet (18), Seraphina (15) and Samuel (12).

Meanwhile, Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20 after sources told Page Six that the couple’s marriage had been over for months.

The “Gigli” co-stars tied the knot in July 2022 after rekindling their early 2000s romance a year earlier.

Insiders told Page Six that Lopez was “angry” and “humiliated” that her second attempt at love didn’t work out, especially since she spent months trying to save the relationship.

However, Garner reportedly became an “unexpected ally” for Lopez amid her relationship problems with Affleck because the two got along well, according to Us Weekly.

Ultimately, the “Juno” star could not save the marriage of the two-time Grammy nominee and Affleck.

Lopez has retreated from the spotlight since ending her two-year marriage to Affleck while the father of three has been busy with his children.

Hours before the “On the Floor” singer filed for divorce, Affleck returned to Los Angeles with Garner and his child, Seraphina, after dropping Violet off for her freshman year at Yale University.

On Friday, he was photographed in good spirits while getting ice cream with his two youngest children in LA.
