Blake Lively rings in her birthday in Taylor Swift’s villa

Trigger warning: This article contains mentions of domestic violence. Blake Lively is celebrating her 37th birthday today — and spending the day in style with a star-studded weekend getaway at the pop star’s Rhode Island mansion, hosted by her longtime best friend Taylor Swift.

Accordingly TMZLively and her husband Ryan Reynolds arrived at the house yesterday. They are joined by Swift and her boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce, who just reunited after the European leg of Swift’s Eras Tour wrapped up earlier this month. Some of their mutual friends were also spotted, including Travis’ brother Jason Kelce, his sister Kylie Kelce, his teammate Patrick Mahomes and Patrick’s wife Brittany Mahomes. Actor Bradley Cooper and his daughter were also seen at the house.

The estate is the same house featured in Swift’s song “Last Great American Dynasty,” in which Swift sings about the former owner and heiress and socialite Rebekah Harkness. Harkness reportedly hosted several extravagant parties at the estate. Swift sings, “Her parties were tasteful, if a little loud,” and “They filled the pool with champagne.” She also sings that Rebekah “flew in all her Bitch Pack friends from out of town.” vulture noted: “Harkness and some of her friends were known in the mass media at the time as the ‘Catch Squad.'” Apparently, the house still hosts parties for entire groups of A-list celebrities today.

Lively’s birthday celebrations will take place after her press tour for It ends with us. Throughout the press tour, Lively was at the center of an online controversy. She was rumored to have feuded with the film’s director, co-producer and star, Justin Baldoni. Some people online also accused her of using an insensitive and flippant tone in her interviews and of encouraging moviegoers to “wear floral gowns” to the theater, seemingly skirting the film’s serious subject of domestic violence.
