Enzo Amore tells a funny story about police officer Bray Wyatt on the anniversary of his death

Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore has shared a moving story about Bray Wyatt one year after the former WWE World Champion’s untimely death.

This week marks the one-year anniversary of Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Rotunda, passing away at the age of 36. Various event organizers paid tribute to his death.

On Instagram, Amore remembered his friend and a time when he was pulled over while driving by a police officer who happened to be a Wyatt fan. He wrote:

“The first time I was in WWE, Windham asked me if I wanted a ride. Of course I did. Windham was hilarious. We were driving through the state of Texas and we actually got pulled over. When the cop looked in the car, he had no idea who we were… but luckily he knew who Bray Wyatt was. He said, ‘Sir… I’m a huge fan. Do you mind if we take a picture?'”

Windham took me under his wing from FCW to my first road trip in WWE. I can’t thank him enough.

A father, a son, a brother, a husband, a good man… and my friend. I always thought I would see them again.

I can’t believe you’ve been gone for a year, hurray…
I miss you, Briz.

Thanks for getting us out of this ticket.

See you on the road”

Wyatt was released from WWE in July 2021, but was reinstated the following year. His highly anticipated return will take place in October 2022 at WWE Extreme Rules.

In his last fight, Wyatt defeated LA Knight in the Pitch Black Match at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Since his death, fans have been calling for him to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
