Here are the winners of Season 5 of NEIP’s Presidential Pitch

The final Presidential Pitch of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was successfully completed.

The overall winner of Season 5 was 25-year-old Samuel Naamgwimaa, an electrical engineering student at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) and a native of Damango.

He received a grant of GH¢250,000 to further develop his Smart Switch solution for the market.

Samuel Naamgwimaa, the founder of Naamgwinaa Technologies, impressed the jury with his innovative electronics company that develops and manufactures the Smart Switch.

This state-of-the-art device optimizes energy management and automation for homes and businesses.

The Smart Switch is extremely versatile and can be used in many different areas, from rooms and street lights to cars and air conditioning systems.

Second place went to Wisdom Boadu of FreshLine Post Harvest Solutions who received a scholarship of GH¢150,000.

FreshLine PHS aims to bridge the gap between smallholder farmers and consumers by reducing food waste and improving the dining experience.

Their mission is to transform fresh produce into nutritious and flavorful products like their signature tomato powder while promoting sustainability.

Third place went to Bismark Asante representing Decor Plus who received a scholarship of GH¢140,000.

Decor Plus is an innovative recycling and manufacturing company that reuses old PVC pipes to create a variety of lighting products, including chandeliers, wall lights, bedside lamps, designer ceiling lights and corner lights.

Their mission is to create high quality, aesthetically pleasing lighting solutions while reducing plastic waste and its impact on the environment.

Decor Plus is also committed to reducing carbon emissions, combating respiratory diseases, creating jobs, teaching young people practical skills and promoting the creative economy.
