Chinese automaker Avatr unveiled a special version of its flagship electric car, the Avatr 012, in Shanghai, developed in collaboration with fashion designer Kim Jones. The new model features many unique styling elements and comes with a free Dior handbag.
Jones, known for his work on the Dior Men’s Collection and Fendi Womenswear/Haute Couture, has teamed up with the Avatr design team led by former BMW designer Nader Faghihzadeh.
Avatr 012 is 5020 mm long and painted in an exclusive Liquid Silver shade with a glossy metallic finish. The novelty also received a set of 21-inch alloy wheels.
The interior is finished in suede combined with white nappa leather. Avatar and Kim Jones logos adorn the integrated headrests. The interior also features a 15.6-inch infotainment screen and a 35.4-inch torpedo display with Huawei’s Harmony OS 4 operating system.
Owners of the special edition will also receive a medium-sized Dior Book Tote, but the color and pattern will be randomly chosen and not according to the interior. The electric sedan is equipped with a pair of Huawei DriveOne electric motors that produce a total of 539 horsepower.
Kim Jones’ Avart 012 costs around $98,000 and the machine is limited to just 1,000 units.
