We are so excited to announce local artist Adan Castañeda’s upcoming solo art exhibition for the next Barrio Art Crawl! Get ready to experience this talented artist’s extensive and unique artwork. On Saturday, August 10, 2024, we will be showcasing many of Adan’s latest paintings at CM Curatorial, one of San Diego’s finest galleries, 2070 Logan Ave. SD Ca. 92113. Doors open at 4pm and the first 25 guests will receive a free limited edition sticker pack.
Joining the evening’s festivities will be our resident DJ Sholove and a special guest DJ from Classy Disco, who will provide the important beats and vibes of the night.
The #AhoraesAdan art show will be an epic exhibition that brings together almost Adan’s entire collection, from artwork he created earlier in his career to the new contemporary paintings he has painted in the last year. Adan’s passion for his craft is reflected in the pure joy and love on the faces of people who view his art. Adan’s visions contain an optimistic and positive view of subjects such as street vendors, cosplay, everyday life and Mexican culture, mixed with all sorts of themes such as retro engineering and Mesoamerican art. His revolutionary style expresses the joy and pride in his heritage so much that it is contagious to the viewer.
