Princess Eugenie celebrates her 34th birthday and becomes a mother.

On Sunday, the Queen posted a new photo of her little son Ernest George Ronnie on Instagram to mark her birthday – and said she was looking forward to spending her special day with her family.

“The very best gift is my boys… so on this birthday I’m appreciating my family and loved ones. ❤️❤️❤️,” Eugenie wrote alongside a photo of herself holding nine-month-old Ernest in the air while wearing a white headband, blue gemstone earrings and a light grey knit top.

Eugenie is also mother to a three-year-old son, August Philip Hawke. She has both children with her husband Jack Brooksbank, whom she married in a ceremony at Windsor Castle in October 2018.

Other members of the royal family shared birthday greetings for Eugenie on Sunday, with the princess’ mother, Sarah Ferguson, posting on Instagram wishing her daughter a happy 34th birthday.

“Happy birthday my beautiful daughter @princesseugenie,” Fergie, 64, wrote alongside a photo of the mother-daughter pair. “I am so proud of the incredible woman you have grown into.”

“You amaze me every day with your hard work, grace, kindness and the care you show for others,” the Duchess of York continued. “You will always be my silly, sweet, smart and thoughtful girl. I love you, Eugenie. Happy birthday.”

Eugenie and her sister, Princess Beatrice, have been supporting their mother since Fergie announced in January that she had been diagnosed with skin cancer.

Shortly after the announcement, a friend of the Duchess of York told PEOPLE that their “family is sticking together” – especially their two daughters.

“They have been great since the summer,” added Eugenie and Beatrice’s friend, 35.

“My two beautiful daughters are my sincere cheerleaders, my devoted advocates and my soulmates,” Fergie herself told PEOPLE last November, adding that Eugenie and Beatrice “have been as supportive as they can be, as they always do.”

“I don’t know about you, but as far as post-pregnancy figure goes, I’m insane, but I find it really hard to lose the baby weight,” Eugenie said. “I guess society dictates that you have to lose your baby weight and all that stuff.”

The Queen also spoke on the podcast about the pressures of growing up in the spotlight and the media attention her appearance attracts, saying it “definitely caused some issues in terms of my relationship with the need to look a certain way.”

“I guess it happens to everyone who’s in the public eye. I guess in our family it happens at that perfect age when you’re, you know, 13 and you’ve got that goofy bowl cut and you’re a little chubby and all the boys are bullying you and all that stuff,” she said.
