Less than a year after Kylie Jenner went viral when she told her then 27-year-old sister Kendall Jenner, “You’re basically 30,” on The Kardashians, Kendall has the last laugh.
For Kylie’s 27th birthday today, the model shared an Instagram story with a photo of her and Kylie as children. She captioned it: “Guess who’s almost 30 now?” and tagged her younger sister.
In the original clip from The KardashiansKylie told Kendall: “These are our years, Kendall. I’m 25. You’re like 30-”
Kendall interrupted, laughing and saying, “I’m 27!”
Kylie didn’t flinch and replied, “You’re practically 30.”
Kendall is not the only one in the family who reminds Kylie of this moment. The KardashiansThe TikTok account also shared the clip on Kylie’s birthday.
Kylie has kept a low profile today and hasn’t added any posts to her Instagram yet.
Although she doesn’t often give interviews, she spoke with Jennifer Lawrence for interview‘s Winter 2023 issue about her relationship with Kendall.
Lawrence began by saying, “You and Kendall are so different. You and I are lions. We are happy, excited golden retrievers. And Kendall is, of course, a Scorpio, just like our mom Kris.”
“Yes,” Kylie agreed.
Lawrence then asked what differences brought Kylie and Kendall closer together.
“Her bond with Stormi (Kylie’s 6-year-old daughter) has brought us closer together,” Kylie replied. “We both have this strong presence and personality, but that’s not a bad thing.”
“And you two aren’t ever really competing for the same thing,” Lawrence added.
Kylie agreed, saying, “Our style and personality are so different.”
