Bryan Danielson: I don’t get nervous anymore, wrestling is a gift

Bryan Danielson reveals that he is no longer nervous before games and likes to give it his all.

Bryan Danielson’s career will end on August 25 at AEW All In if he does not defeat Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship. However, Danielson has already been forced to retire once, and since returning from that forced retirement in 2016, he says he simply sees wrestling as a gift and no longer gets nervous before his matches.

Danielson explained this to Shirleigh of Fightful during the media hype before AEW All In, saying that he is just looking forward to outdoing himself once again, even if it all comes to an end in London.

“No, I don’t get nervous anymore. No, no. I just enjoy it, I just enjoy things. Once I was forced to quit, when I came back, wrestling was just a gift. So even if it’s over on Sunday, I’m just going to go out there and have fun and that’s the thing. I try to push myself every time I go out there and I think the thing I look forward to the most is pushing myself as hard as I can.”

Danielson also revealed in the interview that he tried to include a little Easter egg about his earlier retirement at the AEW Dynamite on August 21. However, he chose the wrong shirt. You can find out more about it here.
