Plenty and 7-Eleven offer Californians ready-to-eat salads

7-Eleven, Inc. and Plenty Unlimited Inc. are partnering to introduce products in 7-Eleven® stores throughout California.

“We are thrilled to add Plenty to our salad offerings and introduce our customers to their innovative and sustainable approach to fresh produce,” said Marissa Jarratt, Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer at 7-Eleven. “As part of 7-Eleven’s Good Made Easy approach, we continue to find ways to offer products that not only meet our customers’ expectations for quality and convenience, but also make a positive contribution to environmental sustainability at scale.”

7-Eleven will offer two salad options from Plenty’s Compton, California-based indoor farm, sold in 1,300 stores across California. The two salads are California Cobb Salad: Featuring Plenty’s Crispy Lettuce, topped with chicken, egg slices, cherry tomatoes, applewood bacon and a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack, served with ranch dressing. And Plenty’s Chicken Caesar Salad: Made with Plenty’s Crispy Lettuce, chicken, Parmesan cheese, crispy croutons, Parmesan cheese chips and a lemon wedge, accompanied by classic Caesar dressing.

“Our team is always looking for innovations and new products that our customers can feel comfortable buying,” said Deanna Hall, senior product director at 7-Eleven. “Introducing Plenty to our salad lineup in California is just one of many ways we are evolving our fresh food to meet our customers’ desires.”

“We are proud to partner with 7-Eleven to bring sustainably grown produce to the hearts of communities across California,” said Dana Worth, SVP, Commercial at Plenty. “Expanding our convenience store presence with 7-Eleven is an important milestone in making fresh, locally grown produce more accessible, and we look forward to continuing to work with 7-Eleven to bring convenient, fresh produce to our customers.”
