Hilaria Baldwin, 40, and her husband Alec Baldwin, 66, celebrate the 11th birthday of their eldest daughter Carmen.
On Friday, The 40-year-old yoga teacher paid tribute to the young woman on her special day on Instagram.
She included a sweet photo of herself, Alec, and Carmen posing together during what appeared to be Carmen’s birthday dinner.
The proud mother sat between Carmen and Alec as she took the selfie with her iPhone.
“Happy 11th birthday to our Carmen Gabriela… we are so lucky to be your parents. Thank you for being our light, for making us laugh… and for being you,” Hilaria gushed in the caption of her post.

In the photo, Hilaria looked radiant in a black turtleneck top while putting one arm around her eldest daughter.
Her husband, to whom she had been married for over twelve years, was wearing a blue shirt and had brushed his greying hair back from his face.
And as for Carmen, the 11-year-old looked simply cute with her brunette hair down and what looked like mascara on her eyelashes.
The couple has been heavily criticized in the past for allowing their daughter to wear makeup from the age of ten.
In June, a photo of Carmen wearing mascara and glossy lipstick that Alec posted to celebrate Father’s Day sparked a strong reaction.
In the comments section, social media users were divided.
One typed: “Why is a 10 year old wearing makeup?” while another asked: “Why is she wearing makeup?” followed by a rolling eyes emoji.
“Looks older than 10!!,” added one follower, while other fans also came to his aid in the comments.

In early February this year, Hilaria was shamed by her mother for allowing Carmen to wear a full face of makeup in a photo she uploaded to her own Instagram page.
“Wonderful family. My 8 year old granddaughter loves to play with makeup and we let her! What’s the problem? So shut your negative mouths and move on,” one said.
However, this is not the first time that Alec and Hilaria have caused strong reactions by wearing makeup.
In early February this year, Hilaria was pilloried by her mother for allowing Carmen to wear a full face of makeup in a photo uploaded to her own Instagram page.
She captioned the photo: “Date night with my first baby…she did our makeup on both of us. How fast they grow up and how amazing it is to be inspired by them.”
“Carmen, you are a very special soul… just like your siblings… all unique and equally incredible,” the media personality concluded.
Once again, social media users flocked to the comments section, with one adding: “Isn’t she too young for makeup?”
Another wrote: “Why do these celebrities make their kids look so grown up? Why all this makeup??” and one wrote: “She’s a kid. Please!”
But others also defended Hilaria. One wrote: “My daughter and I have always done each other’s makeup. It’s a great way to bond, especially with the oldest child in a big family. Please be kind.”

In photos obtained by DailyMail.com, the Baldwin children can be seen cooking on an outdoor grill while Alec taught one of them how to safely cut vegetables.
Their new reality series is scheduled to air on the TLC network sometime in 2025.
