If you’re looking for a home on wheels that has it all, this could be just the thing. Global Expedition Vehicles (GXV) built this 2008 International 7300 4×4 chassis with a Pangea camper and numerous upgrades for off-the-beaten-path adventures.

2008 International 4×4
The basis for this expedition camper is a 2008 International 4×4 chassis. Like most large industrial vehicles, this beast rides on leaf springs and solid axles shod with huge 395/85 Michelin X tires. It’s powered by a massive 7.6-liter turbodiesel backed by an Allison six-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip differential on the rear axle.
The truck was also upgraded with two spare wheels, a roof rack with headlights, area lighting and a front bumper with a cable winch.
Inside the extended cabin are simple captain’s chairs in two-tone gray vinyl. Behind these are two small individual seats in the back bench that flank the walkway to the motorhome.
GXV Pangea Camper
The GXV camper box is made from composite panels with aluminum reinforcements. It’s a pop-up design that when unfolded reveals fun surprise graphics – which can easily be changed to your own taste with some new vinyl.
When unfolded, the camper is three stories tall. The ground floor has plenty of storage cabinets, a full kitchen and a full bathroom. The second floor has a huge wraparound dinette that converts into a bed.
At the very top, accessible via a spiral staircase, is the bedroom with a king-size bed. The camper can also be fully used with the top down, as only the standing height of the dinette and the upper bedroom are affected by the lifting mechanism.
Highlights of the living areas include air conditioning, Armor Vision folding windows with blinds, Fagor induction hob, flat screen TV with satellite receiver, a 6,000W Cummins generator and a large Lithium battery bankIf you need even more storage space, there is a shelf that can be pushed into the shower area when the shower is not in use.
There isn’t a lot of decor inside the RV, but it’s a clean looking blank canvas for you to work with and make it your own personal space.
